Copley Academy have achieved the school’s best ever results this year. Achievement at A*-C has risen again and is above national averages; 59% of pupils gained A*-C grades in five of their subjects including English and maths a massive 31% increase over the last two years. Progress figures have also improved significantly in both English and maths.
Headteacher Matt Jennings said “Copley Academy has been focused on improving all areas of provision in recent years and these results are a strong indication of how much the school has improved. We are delighted that the hard work of staff and pupils has paid off. The pupils’ results this year will enable them to continue on to the next stage of their education.”
